At the recommendation of a friend here in CT, I recently ordered two pairs of alpaca wool socks from Burgis Brook. Alisa (co-owner of Burgis Brook) was super-speedy in responding to my email asking if additional sizes/colors were available aside from what was listed on the website. Once I submitted my order on Friday, I received a partial shipping refund from Alisa because I live nearby…and then my socks were in my mailbox on Monday!
