From Barn to Bloom: How WoolBloom™ Brings Soil to Life.

There’s something special about watching your garden thrive with the help of something so simple—and so close to home.

At Burgis Brook Alpacas, we’re always looking for ways to care for the land that gives us so much. That’s how WoolBloom™ was born—a humble blend of unused alpaca wool from our farm and responsibly sourced sheep wool from a neighboring farm. No fillers, no chemicals—just pure, natural goodness straight from the barn.

Why Wool?

Wool Bloom VeggiesWool is nature’s little miracle worker. The fibers expand when wet, holding moisture right where your plants need it—down in the roots. As WoolBloom™ breaks down over time, it slowly releases nutrients into the soil, helping flowers flourish, veggies grow strong, and container plants stay hydrated longer.

And there’s an added bonus: slugs and snails don’t like crawling over wool, so you get a gentle pest deterrent without lifting a finger (or spraying a thing).

How to Use It

WoolBloom™ couldn’t be easier to use:

  • Mix ½ cup per 1 gallon of soil for raised beds and potted plants
  • Or sprinkle directly on top of soil to keep pests away and lock in moisture
  • One 8 oz. bag covers about 10 sq. ft. or 2 gallons of soil

Whether you’re tending a tiny kitchen garden or rows of summer tomatoes, a little wool goes a long way.
